Encompassing Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Cupping, Tui Na Massage, Dietary Therapy, and exercise (Qi Gong, Tai Chi) etc.
Chinese medicine developed its own unique and thorough system of diagnosis and treatment. It can be used to successfully treat many types of disease.
Chinese medicine can also be used to prevent illness, increase immunity. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Before the biochemical test results indicate issues, people should start taking care of their health. Chinese medicine has the ability to alter your discomfort even while the biochemical tests are within the normal range. In fact, it is essential that treatment commences at this stage. This prevents health from deterioration that leads to the results falling out of the normal range.
Respect for nature and our bodies is another important concept in Chinese medicine. Our bodies are the most amazing creations, just like our universe. It is used to regulate the meridians or channels of the body which unblocks the stagnation of "Qi"(energy). These channels are related to the internal organs which if out of balance can cause diseases and pain. Acupuncture effectively relieves pain and corrects the imbalances of the body. Its simple application, wide range of use, and good curative effect and natural healing are the reasons why more and more people decide to receive acupuncture treatments.
Herbal Medicine
The art of Chinese herbal medicine has been in use for over 5,000 years and has been regarded as “the world's oldest, safest, and most comprehensive system of medical care.” It is based on the use of herbs extracted from plants that possess powerful healing substances, its ability to restore health by correcting imbalances of the human body. All herbs are specially farmed in China and include flowers, leaves, stalks, seeds, barks and roots. Each herb has healing properties which are used for specific purposes and perform particular functions. The herbal prescription will be made according to each patient’s specific condition. In order to get to the root of the problem, the herbs are prepared as a tea decoction or taken in granules form.
Cupping
Cupping is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy dating back at least 2,000 years. Types of cupping include retained cupping, flash cupping, moving cupping, wet cupping, medicinal cupping, and needling cupping. Cupping is a type of alternative therapy that originated in China. It involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. The suction may facilitate healing with blood flow, when the blood flow freely to any part of the body, we do not have pain or get sick. Cupping has been used to treat a wide variety of
conditions, it commonly used to treat physical pain, muscle tension, detoxification, build immune system. When combined with acupuncture, it can treat digestive issues, skin problems, anxiety or depression, infertility...
A 2012 review of studies (1) meta-analysis showed cupping therapy combined with other traditional Chinese medicine treatments was significantly superior to other treatments alone in increasing the number of cured patients with herpes zoster(shingles), facial paralysis (Bell palsy), acne, and cervical spondylosis.
